Privacy policy

LeadCo places great importance on protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, why, and what your rights are, in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

02 Data we collect

The data you provide through the contact form: name, email address, phone number and the type of service requested.
Browsing data collected automatically for statistical purposes: pages viewed, device type and source of the visit (via audience-measurement tools).

03 Purposes and legal bases

Responding to your contact request and preparing a quote — legal basis: steps taken at your request prior to entering into a contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR). Sending the form is enough: no checkbox is needed.
Measuring site audience and improving the site — legal basis: your consent for measurement cookies and identifiers (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR); without consent, statistics without any cookie or stored identifier, based on our legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f)).

04 Recipients and processors

Your data is never sold. It may be processed by our technical providers, solely to operate the service:

Supabase — secure hosting of the database of requests and site statistics.
Resend — sending the email notifications related to your request.
Vercel — website hosting, cookie-free traffic and performance statistics.
Google Analytics (Google Ireland Limited) — audience measurement, with cookies only if you accept them.

05 Transfers outside the European Union

Some of these providers are established outside the European Union (notably in the United States). Any transfers are framed by appropriate safeguards: the European Commission's standard contractual clauses and/or the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.

06 Retention period

Your contact data is kept for as long as necessary to handle your request. If a business relationship is established, the related documents are kept in accordance with Belgian legal obligations (notably 7 years for accounting records). Statistical data is kept in aggregated form.

07 Cookies

A cookie is a small file stored by your browser; the law also covers similar technologies, such as local storage. On your first visit, a banner asks whether you accept audience measurement: declining is as easy as accepting, and changes nothing about your visit. No advertising or social media cookies are used.

Strictly necessary, no consent needed — “leadco_consent” (local storage) remembers your choice for 6 months, after which the banner is shown again. Recipient: LeadCo.
Audience measurement, only with your consent — the Google Analytics cookies “_ga” and “_ga_PV2CS8JYLS” distinguish visitors in order to count visits; duration: up to 2 years. Recipient: Google Ireland Limited.
Audience measurement, only with your consent — “visitor_device_id” (local storage) is a random identifier that lets LeadCo's statistics recognise a device from one visit to the next; “leadco_attribution” (session storage, cleared when you close the tab) records the landing page and the source of the visit, attached to your quote request if you send one. Recipient: LeadCo.
Without your consent — no measurement cookie or identifier is stored. Google Analytics only receives cookie-free signals (Google consent mode: page viewed, device type, time, quote request sent), which cannot recognise you from one visit to the next and are used to estimate traffic. LeadCo's statistics count page views using a hash of the IP address, computed by the server and different every day.

You can change your mind at any time, as easily as you gave your consent: via the “Manage cookies” link at the bottom of every page, or the button below. If you withdraw your consent, the measurement cookies and identifiers are deleted from your browser.
